Walking cactus discovered in China (via @CSMonitor)

Scientists in China has discovered the “missing link in China. The strange-looking walking cactus is thought to be the link between worm-like creatures and arthropods like spiders.”

I was slightly disappointed by the definition of “cactus” here – I had thought that scientists had discovered some sort of cactus (the ones in the dessert) that is somehow an animal and not a plant that walked.  Kind of like Pokey here:
